1. Information We Collect
When you create an account on Brand-O-fluence, we collect information you provide directly, including your name, email address, and password. If you are an influencer, we may also collect information about your social media accounts when you connect them to our platform, including account identifiers, usernames, follower counts, and post metrics.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect to operate and improve the Brand-O-fluence platform, connect brands with influencers, process payments, send transactional emails (such as verification codes and campaign notifications), and comply with legal obligations.
3. Social Media Data
When you connect a social media account (Instagram, YouTube, or TikTok), we access your profile information and content metrics solely to display your reach to brands on the platform. We store access tokens in encrypted form. We do not post on your behalf without explicit authorisation.
4. YouTube API Services
Brand-O-fluence uses YouTube API Services. When you connect your YouTube account, we retrieve your channel identifier, channel title, subscriber and view counts, and public metrics for your videos, so that we can display your reach to brands on the platform.
By connecting your YouTube account you agree to be bound by the YouTube Terms of Service. Any data Google receives in connection with these services is handled in accordance with the Google Privacy Policy.
You may revoke Brand-O-fluence's access to your YouTube data at any time from the Google security settings page, or by disconnecting the account from your Brand-O-fluence dashboard. Revoking access stops all further retrieval of your YouTube data, and any stored YouTube data is deleted within 30 days.
5. Data Sharing
We do not sell your personal data. We share data with third-party service providers only as necessary to operate the platform (for example, Stripe for payment processing and Resend for transactional email). These providers are contractually bound to protect your data.
6. Data Retention
We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. You may request deletion of your account and associated data at any time by visiting our data deletion page or by contacting us.
7. Security
We use industry-standard security measures including encrypted storage of sensitive credentials, HTTPS for all data in transit, and JWT-based authentication with short-lived access tokens.
